Bob asks:

Q: Why do people think that if their lane is ending on the road/highway that they can just linger and ride it out until the end?

Mike Literman says:

A: I have no idea. I don't know where this comes from. Is it something that this person has been doing for a long time or is it something new? I feel that they have always been jerks, quite honestly, and that they are just sticking it to us, by passing six people at a time. I am too generous of a driver so I can't really just let them get to the end and sit there, even that's what they ultimately deserve. You know, in an ideal world, where the road ends, the road should _end_. Roads should be elevated so that there is a 10-20 foot fall to the ground, therefor instilling the fear into those who wait to merge. It's harsh, and will take a few years to make a necessity, but I feel that we as decent drivers could enjoy the sight of someone trying to save themselves 1/16th of a mile driving off the side of the road. Face it, you've wanted to see that all along. You're a terrible person.

Steve asks:

Q: Why do people feel the need to come into my store after smoking weed and try to shop? And to make things even better, I am glad you drove here high with your daughter in the car.

Mike Literman says:

A: First of all, nice store. I love that you have that kind of clientele. Then again, I have worked in those places, too. Anyhow, I am sure that it's not that bad. Let's make up a scenario shall we? Daughter and father are at home. Daughter is acting all wiggy, you know, because she's 8 and every 8 year old is a hyper ball of spaz. Dad can't take it. It's just too much. Where is mom? "Hey, {daughters name}, where the hell is your mom?" You know that is the type of home that they use language like that with their little kids. "Hell" and "damn" are like "please" and "thank you" with those people. Anyhow...so daughter comes home from school and says, "Dad, I need {whatever you sell}. Can we go to the store?" After 3 to 5 and a half hours of arguing, they get in the car. By this time, dad is so tired of daughters garbage that he has no choice but to relax, listen to some Stevie Miller, spark up a tight blunt, and get in the car. So now you see the daily life that is "people that smoke weed with their kids in the car". I just hope that you work in an industry that sells food because you know that he wasn't considerate enough to roll down the window. Parents that smoke weed in the car with their kids should be able to watch protective services put them in theirs. It's just common decency.
